RJ45 Wall Plate

This is the plate and jack on the wall that you connect to with a patch cord. The Cat5 wiring gets pulled through the walls and terminated at the jack. Termination can be learned and accomplished yourself, but if it is a large job, it is best left for experts. They also have testing equipment that should be used to certify the cable to make sure it is terminated correctly, under 300 ft long and does not have any cuts or electrical interference.
