Digital Phone Line

Leaving your school is a connection to the Internet via a telecommunications company. They provide access via a line such as a T1 (1.54 MB/S), a Frame Relay connection, DSL, etc. This line is always up and running (hopefully). The DSU on your end handles the connection.
